Update 8/15/2012

Minnie (on the left), along with her new Mom and sister, Izzy, stopped by to visit and bring a cake they had baked for us!  Yummy!  We love happy endings!

A local animal hospital contacted Animal Welfare League when they received Minnie as a stray.  We went to pick her up immediately and found that not only was she malnourished and starving but she also had fly bites, scars and open wounds all over her body.  She is now being treated for infections and is being fed small amounts often throughout the day.  Despite her rough start in life, Minnie has a positive attitude, gives lots of grateful kisses and her tail is always wagging!
