Experienced Veterinary Technician/Assistant
For busy, high volume low-cost vet clinic.
This candidate must possess strong communications skills, a positive attitude, and an outgoing personality, ability to work in a team setting, excellent customer service skills and a passion for patient care. Able to multi-task a must!
They must able to demonstrate the following technical skills:
Dog and cat restraint, client education knowledge and medical terminology, ability to navigate and utilize veterinary software programs, catheter placement, able to administer SQ/IM/IV injections, can perform urinalysis, fecals and utilize in house laboratory equipment, familiar with radiology positioning.

FULL TIME KENNEL ATTENDANT. Applicant must be reliable, responsible and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Duties include cleaning and maintaining kennel areas. Perform related housekeeping duties. Deal courteously with the public. Handle animals safely and effectively. Participates in the intake of animals received, reclaimed by owners, and adoptions. Feeds and waters all animals in the shelter. Monitors shelter animals for health, temperament, and available kennel space. Cleans and disinfects animal runs, kennels, cages, receiving areas, holding areas, and laundry to ensure the health and well-being of the animal population.
Tasks require the regular and, at times, sustained performance of moderately physically demanding work, typically involving some combination of climbing and balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling, and that may involve the lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (20-50 pounds); may occasionally involve heavier objects and materials.
